Paul came to our house to take pictures of Mandy, who is six years old, and Sophie, who is four years old. Our poodles are such a big part of our lives and bring us so much joy. I believe with all my heart that God gave us Mandy and Sophie for our pleasure. The girls loved Paul right off. I believe they actually thought he came to visit them. We were amazed at how great the pictures turned out since the girls were so active and excited. Mandy kept us in stitches doing all her tricks to get a treat. We have taken many snapshots of them but have never been able to capture them quite like Paul did. Paul was so patient and took so many shots in order to get just the right ones. He captured their personalities and their beauty. Now we have beautiful pictures of our girls to have framed.

Paul came over last week and take some more pictures of our boy, Zeke, now that he is six months old.  Paul had taken pictures of Zeke when we first got him at two months, and wow, what a difference four months makes!! In looking at the pictures of Zeke now, Paul has really captured not only Zeke's physical changes, but his changes in attitude and "style".  Zeke's happy go lucky attitude is apparent here, but I must say getting these shots was not easy.  Zeke is at an age where he wants to assert himself or simply play with you, and he was not truly vested in posing for photos. But Paul's patience and skill won out in the end as anyone can see.  Paul is not afraid to get right down on the ground with a dog, or wait what seems like forever for his subject to finally cooperate and give him the shot he wants.  Paul's' understanding and keen eye for all his subjects is obvious in these photos.  Years from now, I will be able to look at these pictures and know exactly what our boy was thinking and how he acted, not only how he looked,  when he turned six months old. And that is the greatest tribute anyone can make to any photographer.

Thanks, Paul, for you patience and talent, and for taking the time to make sure we have Zeke captured exactly as he is, in all his unapologetic, rambunctious, and mischievous glory.

My family is so pleased with Paul's portraits of our three small children! Paul had great ideas, visited our garden to save us a trip, worked very quickly to accommodate the childrens' short attention spans, and really identified with their personalities. I just wanted to thank you for making the photo shoot of our Soft Coated Wheaten terrier puppy, Zeke, such a great experience.  You arrived on time, and were so patient and kind to both Zeke and me. You did not rush us through anything, and listened to what  Bryan and I , as Zeke's owners, were trying to achieve with these pictures. You showed Zeke at his best, and captured his personality perfectly. Thanks to you, I will always be able to remember vividly not only what Zeke looked like at three months, but also exactly who he was and where he was in his development, and what an important little member of our family he truly is.  The pictures are great, and the experience was wonderful.  I would highly recommend you to anyone wishing to capture an individual, pet, or event as they/it truly are.
