What type of equipment do you use?

Fuji S3 Pro Digital. Digital allows for almost unlimited number of pictures, Color or BW. I always have back-up camera, batteries and lenses to ensure that I am always ready..I shoot with only the best Nikon high end lenses.

The Fuji S3 Pro is the best digital camera on the market today, Where other digital SLRs simply add more pixels, the Fuji S3 Pro simply adds more image quality. This camera features the unique double photodiode-structure Super CCD SR II sensor, which delivers dynamic range approximately 400% greater than a conventional CCD working on a single-pixel design. What does this mean? It just means that flesh tones look natural because we can capture more colors. Think of it this way, would you rather paint with 16 colors or 32 million?

I also have the ability to change ISO setting on the fly so I can always shoot without delay when the party moves outside or inside. Another advantage of Digital is that I can preview the shot after I take to be sure I always get those shots. Your pictures will be up on the web for you to preview in a few days.

My church doesn't allow flash - is that a problem?

No, I can always use available light during the ceremony and after if you prefer. Use of the flash is required sometimes in very low light. One of the great things about digital photography is that I can always check and be sure that I am getting the correct exposure right there rather than have to wait to get the pictures back. I can use a monopod or tripod when needed. The lenses that I use are the best and very fast. I always like to take a few sample shots before the wedding date to ensure that you will get the very best pictures.

How can we help you get the best photographs?

Extra Time!!, I can't stress that enough. Your wedding day will go by so fast, but be sure to allow time for me to get those beautiful shots while you look your best.

How would you describe your "style" of photography?

I specialize in what is know as storybook weddings. I will spend the entire day with you and the groom, capturing the events of the day as they happen in a natural and fun way. I will then use these pictures to tell your story. Most find this type of photgraphy to be more appealing and creative. It's these timeless pictures that you will enjoy for the rest of your lives.

Can we have our photos taken at another location?

Sure! This does require some planning but is well worth the time and effort that goes into it. Try to plan this out before we meet for the engagement pictures. There is no extra charge for this. When you hire me as your photographer, I am there to take the pictures and to get the shots.

 

Is it alright for my relatives and guests to take pictures?

Sure, Thats fine with me, Please be sure to remind them though, that I was hired by you to take your pictures. As soon as I get my pictures in, they can have at it.

Can you take black and white pictures?

Yes!!, I can turn any picture into a black and white, but if you tell me that you want a few black and whites at the shoot, I can change the settings on my camera to get the best quality black and white pictures then. The pictures taken orginally with these settings render the best images with a higher degree of shades and softness.

Do you offer packages?

No, I offer full-day coverage with the option to purchase a custom wedding album, custom prints, or a Custom video on DVD and Windows Screen Saver created from the pictures I take with music selection of your choose. Unlimited Time &/ Unlimited Pictures for only 400.00

Can you hold our date for us?

The 250.00 non-refundable retainer and a signed contract by both the bride and the groom must be received before I can hold your date.

What does your photography fee include?

Full-day coverage of your wedding day. Unlimited Time / Unlimited Pictures. All images posted online. Engagement session for those couples within the Greenville/Spartanburg is included.*** Beach sessions may be available dependent on travel schedule.

Will you go to the hair salon on my wedding day?

Sure... that can be such a fun part of the day. We can do the same for the Groom, These pictures will be great for your video and photo album.

Do you take any formal posed photographs?

My style is called Photojournalistic Photography. I can take those posed pictures you like, along with all those special moments that just happen. I like to merge into the background and catch people being themselves. The interaction among all the family and friends while they enjoy your day. While the day may seem like it's going crazy, having me as you photographer, You will have the most amazing pictures that will bring back back a flood of memorys and sure to bring tears to your eyes.

What printing do you offer and what are your print prices?

B&W, Sepia, Color ... print prices may be found on my price sheet.

What type of albums do your offer?

I will build you a custom wedding album that will take you back to that day everytime you flip through the pages. These albums allow creativity to make it yours. Online proofing allows for you to make changes and share with your friends and family. If something should ever happen to it, You can order another at a drasticly reduced price.

When do you charge for travel?

A travel fee of $300 applies to weddings over 50 miles but within a 150 mile radius of Greenville SC. For weddings that are between 150-250 miles away, a fee of $350 applies. For weddings over 250 miles away, Client will provide one or two nights lodging for the Photographer (dependent on distance.) Travel expenses (to include mileage and gas or airfare and rental car expense) will be added to the final cost of package.

Do you take bridal portraits?

Yes.. the session is 100.00, You can view the pictures online and order what you want..

What about engagement pictures?

An engagement session is complimentary for couples within the Greenville/Spartanburg area as a way for the three of us to spend one or two relaxed hours together. You can view the proofs online and through a custom flash slide show with music that can you can share with faimly and firends around the world. An internet connection is all that is required.

What should I wear to a photo shoot?

Dark colors are best. Avoid busy patterns and bold colors that will distract from your face. Avoid white and light colors, unless it is a light shirt under a dark suit. You're welcome to bring several clothing options.

Do you do photo retouching?

Yes, I do color correction as well as croping the images.

When is the balance due?

After payment of the 200.00 retainer, the balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding date.
